JACOB'S LADDER played a mixture of their own songs and traditional tunes from around Europe, plus covers including NICK DRAKE's "Clothes Of Sand", TIM BUCKLEY / THIS MORTAL COIL's "Song To The Siren", and DOUGIE MACLEAN's "Rescue Me".

Their songs revolved around the intertwining vocal harmonies of the Egle twins, whilst the instrumentation added an earthy organic feel to the music, at times reminiscent of the 4AD scene (THIS MORTAL COIL, COCTEAU TWINS, DEAD CAN DANCE etc.)
