As TORQUE:
Mal Irvine (Vocals)
Simon Cruickshank (Guitar)
Roly Mutter (Guitar)
Stef Dallney (Bass)
Mik Gaffney (Drums)

As LEVER:
Dominic Cruickshank (Guitar) replaced Roly.
Clive Todman (Bass) replaced Stef.

Mik later played in TORTILLA ARMY (www.myspace.com/tortillaarmy).
Influenced by the likes of QUICKSAND and HELMET, with what sounds like a strong dose of TOOL and SOUNDGARDEN, TORQUE's brand of Melodic Hardcore saw them touring the UK and Europe supporting such bands as DUB WAR, REEF, SHOOTYZ GROOVE and UNSANE.

The band was later forced to change their name to LEVER due to legal reasons.
